For example, wild salvia is dried on ceiling-mounted racks in the kitchen, which serve both practical and stylish roles. The shelves above the counter hold a mix of heirlooms and Ligurian pottery. The candlestick was found at a flea market in Paris.

A custom steel and brass hood inspired by 19th-century English homes became the space's main focal point and decorative point.
