In a centuries-old farmhouse overlooking Portofino, Italy, landscape architect Marco Bay framed local dry grass and incorporated textural elements to emphasize the house's foliage. For example, wild salvia is dried on ceiling-mounted racks in the kitchen, which serve both practical and stylish roles. The shelves above the counter hold a mix of heirlooms and Ligurian pottery. The candlestick was found at a flea market in Paris.
