The name says it all: Real Deals.
The new retailer, which will specialize in low-priced items, will open in a retail center on the southeast corner of 41st Street and Western Avenue.
The product was brought to Sioux Falls by Janessa Wilson, who discovered the store while living in Idaho and decided to expand here, moving there to help open Crumble Cookies. did.
“I used to go shopping there all the time,” she said. “One of my favorite things about her was home decor, because they always seemed to bring in unique items.”
The clothes are “very affordable,” she continued. “Most boutiques are very expensive, but that's not what we do.”
Due to limited quantities, the items “go out pretty quickly,” Wilson said. “I always get new stock. We have a back room where we can shop, which we also liked, and there is a place to display new products. If there's one or two left, they'll put it there and it'll usually come out at a discount.
Real Deals “buys directly from vendors, so we have a lot of name brand items,” she added. She says, “We offer a wide range of well-known brands such as Can-Can, Judy Blue and Flying Monkey at affordable prices.”
Given his experience with Crumble Cookies, Wilson said his goal was to find a space on 41st Street.
“I said I wanted it to be on the west side and visible from 41st Street, and this property happened to be vacant,” she says. “We needed a very spacious, open showroom. There was very little need to demolish it, so it was easy to rebuild.”
The space at 2001 W. 41st St. was most recently a seasonal store with Christmas decorations.
Wilson hopes to open in the early spring and has begun hiring initial staff to help run the store.
