We all have some cracks and tears somewhere in our homes, but most of the time, if they can't be repaired, we can do our best to cover them and move forward.
However, one woman revealed that there was a huge crack in her kitchen floor and there was absolutely no way to hide it.
Janelle shared her broken and cracked kitchen tiles online in a TikTok video.
The broken tiles had deteriorated so badly that the DIYer claimed his dog had started hiding treats in the crevices.
She said, “Mango can hide treats there.''
Like most of us, Janelle didn't have the money to replace her entire kitchen floor, so she decided to do a quick DIY renovation.
She said: “This is how I fixed the broken tile in my kitchen.”
The first step for the DIY fan was to sand down the cracks in the floor and smooth them out.
Janelle uses a sanding machine for this, but if you don't mind getting your hands dirty, sanding paper will work just as well.
She then filled the cracked area with bond filler.
“I sanded it down, put on a mask, and filled in the gaps with glue,” she said.
Then wait for the crack to dry before sanding further.
Janelle then painted the new makeshift tiles, but since the other tiles had marble prints, they still didn't have a seamless look.

Janelle picked up a paintbrush and began copying other kitchen floor tile designs.
She said: “We added a vein to match the rest of the floor, sealed it, and that was it.”
After that, you won't even know there was a crack in the floor at all.
Janelle: “The broken tiles blended in seamlessly.”
The kitchen tile video has racked up more than 124,000 views online, with people amazed that a DIY fan took on such a difficult challenge.
one user said: “I'd love to do this, but I'm a little scared that it's going to be a great job.”
Another said: good. Well then, let's go! ”
“Wow, that's amazing. You are so inspiring!!!” said a third.
